Christy grew up in a small East Texas community of about 150 people, surrounded by open land, cattle, and horses. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Education and moved to Marble Falls, where she taught for five years.
The Lord led Christy to Austin where she joined the Global Outreach Ministry at Hill Country Bible Church. Her passion for cultures, people, and Jesus soon collided as she had the opportunity to join CRU’s campus ministry team in Athens, Greece. After serving overseas, she found her way back to Austin where she met and married her adventurous, nature-wandering, music-loving and fitness enthusiast husband, Miles. They have one son, Maverick, and a little girl, Ruby.
She loves seeing little children light up in wonder as they learn about Jesus and has a passion to see each one know and walk with Him for a lifetime.
