Tory is originally from Detroit, Michigan. After graduating from Bowling Green State University in Ohio, he moved to Austin to pursue an incredibly beautiful and godly woman, Natalie, who is now his wife! Together they have three daughters: Michaiah, Kyria, and Jada. After working for a church in Northwest Austin for 4 years, Tory and Natalie felt called to plant The Well.
Tory hopes The Well is pivotal in planting 100s of churches, sending 100s of missionaries, and making much of Jesus in this great city!
Tory is passionate about pursuing Jesus, discipleship, the Bible, cappuccinos, and sports (Go Blue!). Tory graduated with his Master’s in Christian Leadership from Dallas Theological Seminary. Tory’s main goal in life is to be a solid husband, a loving father, and to disciple as many men as possible for the glory of God!
Anthony, a native New Yorker raised in Brooklyn, relocated to Austin in 2018 to serve The Well Community Church as Worship Pastor. He wed his beautiful wife Judy, who was raised in the Bronx, in 2007. They are parents to four beautiful children: Ethan, Lucas, Camila, and Asher.
Anthony’s passions include intersecting historical and modern worship, discipleship, and the spiritual formation of the local church through means of liturgy and song. As a bi-lingual songwriter of Dominican descent, he has a heart to reach the Hispanic community. In practice, he aims to showcase the gospel in worship, pointing the congregation to the Creator while celebrating the gifts of the created. He values connecting with and shepherding creatives of all types and seeing them utilize their gifts to serve the local church.
While attending Nyack College, Anthony sensed God calling him to full-time ministry, confirmed by his local church body and leaders. He led worship in several capacities during his tenure in NYC, including most recently leading Apostles Church NYC as Worship Director. Anthony also loves good food, quality time with family and friends, period piece movies/shows, reading and watching his beloved New York Yankees!
Born in Washington, D.C., and raised by a pastor and a teacher, God gave Adam a heart for the local church at a young age. Adam and his beautiful bride, Laura, were married in November 2014.
Adam’s journey has taken him around the country and around the
world. He has previously served on staff with several churches and
mission’s organizations. He graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos, TX where he and Laura met. He also graduated from Dallas Theological Seminary with a Masters in Christian Leadership.

Christy grew up in a small East Texas community of about 150 people, surrounded by open land, cattle, and horses. She graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Education and moved to Marble Falls, where she taught for five years.
The Lord led Christy to Austin where she joined the Global Outreach Ministry at Hill Country Bible Church. Her passion for cultures, people, and Jesus soon collided as she had the opportunity to join CRU’s campus ministry team in Athens, Greece. After serving overseas, she found her way back to Austin where she met and married her adventurous, nature-wandering, music-loving and fitness enthusiast husband, Miles. They have one son, Maverick, and a little girl, Ruby.
She loves seeing little children light up in wonder as they learn about Jesus and has a passion to see each one know and walk with Him for a lifetime.
Juliana has been at The Well since before it actually started and was the first person to commit to helping start the church! Some things that stand out about Juli is her joy, love for Christ, and passion for God and people.
Stephanie met her husband, Michael, on a cruise in the middle of the Pacific Ocean and after dating for nearly 3 years, while growing together in the Lord, they recently got married in April of 2019! They spend most of their time playing tennis, stand-up paddleboarding, dancing, and spending time with friends.
Children’s Ministry Director
Elizabeth grew up in Dallas, Texas, with her parents and two brothers. After following her older brother to Texas A&M, she met her amazing husband, Adam. Upon graduation, she returned to Dallas to enter the corporate world. She has spent many summers on Young Life summer staff, served in leadership in campus ministry, volunteered in children’s ministry, served as a CASA, and served a nonprofit that shares the gospel internationally. The Lord sweetly called Elizabeth into full time ministry to pursue her passion for Jesus and for children to know how deeply loved they are by a perfect Father.
In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys baking, running, yoga, reading, and playing with her puppy, Sophie. A foodie and outdoor enthusiast, she enjoys finding fun and novel venues to spark her imagination. On a weekend, you may catch her strolling around Austin with her husband, puppy, and a cup of coffee.
Church Planting Resident
Juhan is originally and proudly from Denver, Colorado where he grew up for most of his youth. He lived in South Korea for 2 years and eventually moved to Dallas, attending Dallas Baptist University to receive his Bachelor’s of Arts in Biblical Studies. After graduating, he moved to Massachusetts to attend Gordon Conwell Theological Seminary where he got his Masters of Divinity. There, he met and married his amazing wife, Christine. They moved to Austin Texas in 2013 to serve a local Korean church youth group. Together they have a son, Isaiah, and two dogs, Miles and Korra.
Juhan is passionate about all sports but is especially a die-hard Broncos fan. He loves all kinds of food and prides himself in being a foodie. He and his wife enjoy venturing out to all the local food and coffee spots in Austin. He is also passionate about the Gospel and desires to reach all people preaching, teaching, and walking with them in the amazing grace and love of Jesus Christ. He wants to build a gospel-centered community in North Austin where people can come as they are and be transformed by the redemptive love of Jesus.
Mary was born and raised just up the road in Temple, TX. She obtained an Associates degree in music from McLennan Community College, a Bachelor’s degree in education from the University of Texas at Austin, and a Masters degree in curriculum and instruction from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Mary has spent the last 6 years teaching and discipling students in the elementary classroom. However, a love of singing and music has been there for as long as she can remember. She has a sincere passion and desire to help others live a life of worship. She is thrilled that the Lord is giving her the opportunity to combine her love of worship and teaching through a residency at The Well.
Mary met her husband, Scott, through a mutual friend in 2014 and they have been married since 2016. They have one furbaby named Colt, a yellow Labrador Retriever. Mary loves slow mornings with a cup of coffee, deep passionate conversations, duck hunting with Colt, and any opportunity to go two-stepping with her handsome hubby.
Kendall is originally from Arlington, Texas. After graduating high school, Kendall moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in film and tv where she worked as a production manager and producer. In 2008 she met Kelly while they both were serving on the production team at their church and they were married in 2010. Soon after they formed Jordan Stone Productions, and have worked together on several projects. In 2014, they welcomed their first baby girl, Austyn, followed by sisters, Presley and Bryce.
Kendall is passionate about family, the Word, the local church and community. While in Los Angeles, she was an integral part of two church plants as well as opening her home and her life to a community of folks to offer discipleship and a place to see the Gospel lived out.
When you look up “multi-tasking” in the dictionary, you might just see a picture of Kendall. Logistics and systems have always been her gift, which she thrives on. Now as a mother, foster parent, and host, she embraces the opportunity to serve the people of The Well, using her gifting to pave the roads for others to dance on.
Erica grew up in the suburbs of Kansas City, Missouri. After graduating from Northwestern University with a degree in communications, she moved to New York City to start a career in the theatre/film/television industry where she worked for three years. God used her time in NYC to grow her into true relationship with Him, open her eyes to the importance of Christian community, and give her a heart for biblical justice. She felt the Lord calling her to Austin in 2015 and moved down to Texas to work at a church in July 2016. Erica met her fiancé, David, at a young adults church retreat in November of that year and is looking forward to starting their married life in October 2020!
Tyler grew up in McKinney, TX, and attended the University of Oklahoma, where he studied Petroleum Engineering. At OU, he grew in his faith and was equipped in making disciples while being part of a campus ministry called Student Mobilization. He and his wife, Margaux, met at a 9-week discipleship program in Panama City Beach, Florida. Upon graduation, Tyler moved to Austin and worked in the finance industry doing wealth management for a few years. He and Margaux got married in October 2019, and have a huge heart for making Jesus known amongst the unreached people groups. They want to devote their lives to Matthew 28:18-20 not only here locally, but all over the world as well.
Tyler loves coffee, trying unique foods, and golfing. He and Margaux enjoy going on hikes, playing tennis, and traveling together. Ultimately, they love Jesus and want to see His name exalted globally. They hope to play a role in launching 100 churches overseas in the next 50 years so that Jesus receives the praise that He deserves.
He started his business career in Dallas and was a member of Antioch Community Church Dallas. During his time there, he served in multiple ministries, including leading a small group and worship on Sundays. He also met his amazing wife, Blair, in Dallas! After a few years they moved to Austin and instantly joined The Well in 2016. They recently had their precious daughter, Amelia!
Outside of work and joyfully serving the Church, KC loves Christian rap, worship music, basketball and supporting his Baylor Bears!
His most fervent desire is to never become numb to the Gospel and to remind everyone (including himself) that Jesus is worthy of all the praise!
Jacob and his wife Milana met at freshman orientation in college where they both got involved with a campus ministry called Student Mobilization (StuMo). Milana came to faith through this organization and Jacob caught a vision to make disciples! Since graduation, the Browns have been on staff with StuMo, first at TCU and now at UT. They are passionate about helping college students begin a relationship with Jesus, become established in their faith, and be sent out after college to fulfill God’s global purposes.
When he’s not working with college students, you can find Jacob making his daughter laugh, cheering for the Horned Frogs, riding roping horses, or hunting at his ranch!
Daniel grew up in Temple, TX and has recently come home to Austin after spending 15 years living in various parts of the North East USA. He and his wife, Marina, have been married nearly 20 years, and he is the proud Dad of three kids: Julia, Jackson, and Evelyn. The Lentz family made the Well their church home in 2017, and they have been leading the Eastside Community Group for most of the time since.
Daniel has a passion for authenticity and loves seeing relationships built and flourish between normal, broken people that are united by their love for Jesus Christ. He also has a huge heart for marriage, and he and Marina also serve as pre-marital counselors at the Well. He’s also a proud, unapologetic nerd that loves world history, politics, role-playing games, and all things finance. He holds business and real estate degrees from UT Austin and Cornell.
